Life is good. We're very settled in here now in North London, both L and I are loving living here. There have been a few bumps in the road - I haven't started a contract job I intended to this week, and instead am looking for a permanent full-time position in the near future. For the time being I continue my regular part time job. L has just got a new job, which is good news, though I'm finding it hard waving goodbye to her each morning.

We've both got so used to spending all our time together - thanks to me working from home - that it's something of a wrench. It's ironic really, considering how difficult goodbyes were when we only saw each other at weekends. In her absence, and because she's working a full day, I'm in full house-husband mode and have been cleaning/tidying and making sure L's dinner is on the table when she comes home.
